Renowned Polish installation artist Krzysztof Wodiczko has been creating large-scale photo and videographic projection mapping on architectural facades and monuments for more than 50 years. His critical design practice, known as Interrogative Design, integrates art and technology to highlight social inequities and other cultural issues that are often overlooked by artists and architects. Professors Sung Ho Kim and Jon Yoder will work with Krzysztof to develop a cross-disciplinary workshop with 16 Kent State art and architecture graduate students. Material components for a site-specific projection/installation will be fabricated in the CAED FabLAB, Center for the Visual Arts and Design Innovation Hub Reactor, and installed on the Kent Campus.
