The 2024 graphic has been designed to be Cricut-friendly, meaning that it can be produced on iron-on or heat transfer vinyl using a Cricut machine and applied to a shirt, bag or other heat press compatible material.
Don't have access to a personal Cricut machine? No problem! The 2024 graphics are available to cut in the Student Multimedia Studio (1st floor of the University Library)! Just bring your own materials (vinyl plus shirt, bag, etc.) and the SMS crew can help you! The studio is open Mondays through Thursdays during the summer from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Check closely on the vinyl material that you use. If you are making a shirt, bag, etc the vinyl must be labeled as either "iron-on" or "heat transfer". Vinyl paper, premium vinyl, removable vinyl are not the right materials for pressing onto fabric. However, they can be used to make decals (stickers) for mugs, laptop or phone cases, windows, etc.
The base material - tshirt, bag and other fabric - can be made from a variety of textiles, from 100% cotton to poly blends and even potentially silk or wool.
