KSU Information Environment

  • You have access to the all the library resources available on the Kent and Regional Campuses as well as online electronic resources, including books and journals. Find out all about borrowing policies here.
  • Exclusively off-campus distance learning students can request book delivery. See here for more information.
  • Kent State University's membership in the OhioLINK consortium connects you to the book collections of the 90 academic libraries in Ohio plus over 12,000 e-journals and 140 research databases.  See link to OhioLINK catalog.

Key Library Tools

  • The Journal Finder: Use this tool to learn if online or print copies of articles from a specific journal are available. You can link to the Journal Finder from the University Libraries' homepage using the link in the blue search box. Link to Journal Finder.
  • Use the free Interlibrary Loan service to get an electronic copy of an article from another library if it is not available from KSU. You can also use this service to request an electronic copy of an article from our print collection. Request to borrow a book that is not available through KSU or OhioLINK. Link to Interlibrary Loan.
  • If you study exclusively online (never come to campus or regional) you may be eligible for free library delivery.  See link to Distance Learner Material Delivery.
  • You can log into My Library Account from the University Libraries' homepage or on the top tool bar in the KentLINK library catalog. Sign in with your FlashLine credentials to view all materials checked out with due dates, as well as any items in transit. Materials can be renewed online through this account.
  • ASK US! There are many ways to get assistance--in person, e-mail, instant messaging. Click on the ASK US box floating on upper toolbar.
