International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (IATEFL)

Founded in 1967, the IATEFL is a global professional membership association, and a UK registered charity that exists to  support  English language teachers and other  ELT professionals in their professional development, and provide a forum for sharing  research and teaching experiences.

International Language Institute

Located in the Washington , DC area, the ILI offers intensive English classes as well as 10-week group classes in Arabic, Chinese Mandarin, Farsi, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Medical Spanish four times per year.  They also offer an 8 week TESOL/TEFL certificate program.

National Clearinghouse for English Language Acquisition (NCELA)
