If you need to produce a quick video recording of yourself and have a built-in webcam on your Mac it is easy to set up! Simply use Apple’s Quicktime Player. Click File > New Movie Recording then press the red record button to begin. Once finished you can easily trim the video (Edit > Trim) before saving/exporting. We do not recommend using Apple’s Photo Booth program, as it will record the mirror image of you (i.e., backwards).
