Have a PDF that needs to be shrunk to a smaller file size? Adobe Acrobat offers an option to reduce the file size either under Document > Reduce File Size or File > Save As > Reduced Size PDF (depending on your version). But what if you only have Adobe Reader? You still can! The trick is in the Print dialogue. Click your Print button. Next, on a Windows machine, choose "Adobe PDF" as your printer. Alternatively, on a Mac, look for the "PDF" option in the bottom left of your print dialogue - you may have to click on a "Printer" button in the bottom left first. On Windows and Mac it should bring up a prompt to save your new PDF file.
