For InDesign users this tip may be helpful to you! If you're assembling a set of images in your layout, the "Content-Aware Fit" option can be quite handy! By the click of the button you can prompt InDesign to automatically scale and position your photos based on the focal point and context of the images. From there you can further tweak the setup. You'll find the "Content-Aware Fit" choice the same way you select the other fitting options (such as "Fill Frame Proportionately" or "Fit Content to Frame") - either on your tool bar or under Object > Fitting.
