Phone battery charge

Prolong the life of your smartphone by taking care of your battery. It is recommended to keep your phone between 20 and 80% charged to help extend its lifespan. When a phone reaches 100% and still remains plugged in, it pushes the phone to expend unnecessary energy and even increase the phone's temperature. One way to avoid this is to stop plugging your phone in before going to bed. Instead, try charging it while you do your morning routine or in the evening while reading or watching TV. Just keep usage to a minimum while charging otherwise that could also contribute to a shortened lifespan. Some newer phones are already set up to automatically stop charging after 80%, such as iPhones with iOS 13.0 or greater and Google Pixel 3 and newer. You can check your battery's charging options in your phone's settings app.
