If you’re an AirPod user, do you find that one AirPod seems to drain its battery faster than the other? The AirPod that serves as the microphone uses more battery. If the same one acts as the mic over and over it will shorten the overall battery life. To help avoid this, open the Settings app on your iPhone. Then go to AirPod > Microphone then switch from “Automatically Switch AirPods” to “Always Left” or “Always Right”. It might make your AirPod usage feel a tiny bit clunkier but it will help reduce your AirPods’ battery degradation. Just make sure to go back in periodically to your Settings and switch back and forth once in awhile.
