Combination Atlases of counties are a good source of historical property ownership information as well.
University Libraries Special Collections and Archives has holdings of many of these atlases for local counties in Ohio. They can be searched by name in the KentLINK catalog. For the current era, plat maps and property information from the county auditor in question are very useful.
