Why can't I find the full-text of some dissertations or theses?
With some exceptions, dissertations and theses published after the year 2000 can often be found online. Dissertations published prior to 2000 may or may not yet be digitized.
The full text of some theses or dissertations may be embargoed for a certain amount of time after the author's graduation.
You can request items not available through KentLINK, OhioLINK, or the library's databases by submitting an Interlibrary Loan Office (ILL) request. ILL is available for all current Kent State faculty, staff, and students. Simply log into ILLiad to submit a request for a dissertation.
