According to Mintel Market Research Reports,
"Nearly half of adults plan to do their shopping before Thanksgiving, including a third of consumers who will shop in October and early November, and one in eight who will shop as early as summer/fall (June-September). The rise in ecommerce and supply chain challenges are driving factors behind the behavior change, and a third of adults shop earlier because they are concerned about out of stocks. Consumers also know they can get good deals outside of peak week, and four in ten shop throughout the year to take advantage of deals or agree that it is not critical to shop on Black Friday or Cyber Monday to find deals."
Inflation will lead consumers to "prioritize lower prices and other forms of value. The season will continue to stretch earlier and longer as consumers embrace new habits and a planned approach to their shopping."
