Kent State Libraries provides access to a wide range of article databases full of academic journal articles from different disciplines. Some databases are multidisciplinary with a broad range of disciplines. While others are much more focused to articles published in disciplinary journals.
Each of the below databases will allow you to search for your topic from a different disciplinary lens. This this class being on the political economics of your topic, it would be beneficial to search for academic articles on your topic from these different perspectives to gain a deeper understanding of the issue.
Choose the database(s) that would be most relevant to your topic within this course and search for you topic within them. For example, if your topic is about prison reform, you might search Criminal Justice Abstracts and Political Science Complete to start.
