Makerspace at KSU Tuscarawas: Nursing Faculty's wound simulation and stitch pads

Nursing faculty worked with Makerspace staff to create wound simulation and reusable stitch pads for their students to practice nursing care. 

Wound simulations were created using 3D printers, then put into the mold maker to create molds. Silicone was used to create lifelike wound simulation. The same process was used to create reusable stitch pads.
