Nomad 883 Pro

The Nomad 883 Pro is a CNC milling machine. It cuts an object from a block of wood, plastic and some soft metals. It will also etch.

Using the Nomad

The Nomad has three programs associated with it. These are:

Carbide Motion (This program runs the machine)

MeshCAM (This program converts your file into usable code for the Nomad)

Carbide Create (This program will allow you to create a usable CAD file, or draw your item)

Materials

The Nomad 883 Pro is ble to cut wood, plastic and soft metals. It also engraves. We will try to keep scrap material to practice with. Good stock is available at cost.

Renshape, which is the material used in our video, is $3.12 per block.
