When you are researching legal topics, you will want to locate law review articles in addition to articles from scholarly publications in the topic discipline. Law reviews publish in-depth articles, written by legal practitioners and law students, focusing on cases, statutory and regulatory law.
Sources to search for law review articles:
- Nexis Uni
- WestlawNext Campus Research
- Legal Collection is another tool for searching for law reviews. It can be searched at the same time as other databases, such as Education Research Complete. To search multiple databases simultaneously, after logging in to Legal Collection, click Choose Databases » (the link is next to the database name on the search screen) and then select which other databases to also search.
Other databases include some law reviews as well as scholarly journals, but these are the best tools for finding law reviews.
Use this tool to determine the availability of online or print journals available at Kent State, as well as online titles available through OhioLINK.
