Electronic Reserves
Students enrolled in this class have access to additional film resources through ARES (Automated Reserves System). To access the the designated resources login to ARES with your Flashline credentials.
Print Reserves
Several print books have been placed on reserve for this course. Reserves are items that must stay in the library or checked out for 2 hours. To review the list, enter the course title in the Course Reserves Search
Library Search provides one-stop searching for books, e-books, journals, articles, videos, digital media and helps you manage your research. Results can be quickly limited to books using options below the search bar.
Selecting "KSU & Ohiolink print books" from the search box drop down menu to explore and request books from college and university libraries across Ohio.
Selecting "Beyond my Library" from the search box drop down menu will explore resources beyond our collection that may require requesting the item through Interlibrary Loan.
While Kent State Library Search includes many journal articles, more specialized databases may prove to be more efficient and effective.
Databases locate journal articles by their titles, authors, and topics. Kent State University Libraries subscribes to hundreds of databases. Each database has a different scope and some may overlap with others. Searching multiple databases may prove beneficial in many instances. The following list contains the databases most frequently used by design students. Most search the records of the articles (as opposed to the articles' full text).
