How can I borrow materials?

Bring your Flashcard ID to the library to check out items. You can check out items when their status is set to 'available' in the catalog.

You can also check out items from 88 libraries across Ohio using OhioLINK!

How many items can I borrow?

There is NO limit on the amount of books you can check out at a time!

How long can I keep items?

How long you can keep an item depends on your status.

 

*You have the potential to renew books, as long as another person has not placed a hold on the item. OhioLINK media items, such as CDs or DVDs, are not eligible to be renewed.

How can I renew items?

You can renew your items in several ways:

  • Visit the library and ask us to renew your books for you.
  • Call us and ask us to renew your books for you.
  • Renew your books online using the 'My Account' link 

In some instances, the system may tell you it is too soon to renew an item. You can only renew items which are very close to their due date.
