This guide will inform patrons of library services and address common questions about library use.

When is the library open?

The library's normal hours during the semester are:

Monday
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Thursday
9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Friday
Closed.
Saturday
Closed
Sunday
Closed.

Can I have food and drink in the library?

Yes!

You can eat and drink in the library as long as:

  • Your food is snack-like and not an open plate or meal
  • You do not have food delivered to the library
  • You don't eat or drink near the computers, microfilm machines, or photocopiers.

Please let library staff know right away if you have a spill - we want to keep the area clean for everyone!

How can I make photocopies in the library?

Photocopies are available in the library for $.10 each. There are two copiers located in the library. Both copiers require use of a counter and copies must be paid for with cash only.

  • Please ask for the counter at the circulation desk to make copies.
  • We accept cash only for copies.
  • Both photocopiers make double-sided copies. However, each side counts as one photocopy. ($.20 for a two sided copy)

Please ask at the circulation desk if you need any help photocopying!

Can I scan in the library?

We are in the process of obtaining a scanner for the Library.....please stay tuned for further information.

Can I send a fax in the library?

 

The Kent State University at Tuscarawas Library's fax number is (330) 308 - 7553.

  • You may send faxes during library hours on Monday – Friday.
  • The cost for students to send a fax (local or international) is $1.00 per page.
  • Faxes may be picked up at the main circulation desk during library hours.
