Introduction

This bibliographic guide to “Methods of Inquiry in Architectural Studies” is based on a compilation of research resources for graduate students who enroll in a course of studies with the same title. The students use the resources to compile data and supporting information for various environmental research projects. The list covers various U.S. governmental agencies which collect data related to the earth, bodies of water, air, and demographics. Auxiliary resources relate to health and human services and communities and mapping of historic footprints of the built environment are also included.  The guide is relevant to all levels of graduate and undergraduate research by students of the College of Architecture and Environmental Design (CAED).
