Company Profiles in Business Source Complete
If you have not selected your company for your research project you can look through the company profiles contained in Business Search Complete.
Scroll your mouse over the "More" located on the top menu bar. Select Company Profiles from the list. You can either search for a company alphabetically or by name if you know the company you want to research. These industry reports from the companies home countries are typically 12-15 pages long and give an overview of the company, current trends, outlooks forecasts.
Reviewing Articles
- The results list includes title, all bibliographic information, and article availability. The abstract appears if the mouse is moved over the magnifying glass and paper icon. Articles may be put into a folder for later review.
- The article title link provides a detailed record for the article that includes the abstract and alternative search terms. On the left is the article format options. On the right is a list of options such as; add to folder, save, email, cite. To cite the article, click on the cite link and then copy and paste the appropriate citation into your paper. Remember to read the NOTE at the top and check the current standards for citations.
