The library is a great place to do research, study, or relax quietly with friends.
Free coffee and tea are available and food is allowed. Enjoy comfortable seating. friendly staff, computers, nice surroundings, magazines for browsing, and a television to catch up on world events.
What is Third Place? The concept was created by Ray Oldenburg in "The Great Good Place." He contends that the first place is home, the second place is the workplace (or school), but the third place is one that is chosen. It is a place that becomes an anchor of community life and facilitates and promotes broader, more creative interaction. Make the Library your Third Place!
