Welcome to Kent State University Libraries, this guide is designed to help students prepare their materials for the Undergraduate Symposium on Research, Scholarship, and Creativity. Undergraduate research encompasses an entire spectrum of faculty and graduate-student mentored research, scholarship, and creative activities. The goal is to establish a University infrastructure to make undergraduate research an integral part of the Kent State University experience to better prepare students for graduate and professional opportunities that make for an enriching educational experience.

The library is offering 3 identical workshops to help students prepare for the symposium. The workshops will cover writing abstracts, designing the content of the posters, and provide a brief demonstration on how to present a poster. Dates and times of the 3 workshops are below, registration for the workshops is highly encouraged. To register for one of the workshops please go to the scheduler.
