What Is a Poster Session?

A poster session, also known as a poster presentation, is a part of an academic or professional conference at which researchers present posters that display the results of their research projects.

Printing Your Poster

JR Campbell, Director of the Fashion School has made this kind offer to allow the TechStyleLAB to help student produce posters. More information  is available online at the Symposium site here: http://www.kent.edu/undergradstudies/ugresearch/resources.cfm.

The Fashion School will provide the paper for students to print posters for the symposium. 

  • Posters can be printed for $8for this event only, they will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.
  • Students must allow for at least 2 working days to have files printed.  
  • Files should be provided in PDF, TIFF, JPG, PSD and/or AI  formats (No Word or Powerpoint files) for printing.
  • Students can bring the electronic file on a USB drive to the Fashion School, Room 302/304 Rockwell hall before 12:00p.m. and after 1:00pm starting March 7.
