Study spaces located within University Library.

Study Areas in the University Library

The University Library offers multiple spaces for students to study. On the 1st floor, there are study rooms for small groups or individuals, available on a first come, first served basis, a general study space in the Harrick Garden Room and other open study tables on the 1st floor.

There are four small group study rooms available on the 2nd floor that can be scheduled for up to two hours at a time along with the Flash Studio that can be scheduled by anyone needing to record a presentation or just hone their presentation skills.

The 4th floor of the University Library (aka the Fab Fourth) offers soft seating and vending machines for use by students along with six Media:scape Pods. A Media:scape Pod allows up to six students to simultaneously connect their laptops to one 42" monitor so that each student can easily view what is on another student's laptop screen. The pods can be scheduled for up to two hours of continuous use by a student or student group. 

Study rooms in the main libraryOn the 6th floor are 11 single-capacity study rooms that can be scheduled for up to two hours at a time for use by one individual.

You will find 11 single-capacity study rooms that can be scheduled for up to two hours at a time for use by one individual located on the 7th floor.

Floor 8 offers a designated quiet study area for students including 9 single-capacity study rooms that can be reserved and two "signed" single-capacity study rooms that can be reserved.  Designated quiet study areas should be free of any conversation or cell phone disruptions so please be considerate of your fellow students.

Finally, on the 9th floor, there are 3 single-capacity study rooms that can be scheduled for up to two hours at a time. 

All other floors in the University Library offer areas for study but are not designated as quiet or group study areas.
