WRDS Overview

Wharton Research Data Service

The Kent State University Library is pleased to provide access to the Wharton Research Data Service (WRDS) for KSU students and faculty.

What is WRDS?

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is a web-based business data management system that allows researchers to retrieve information from financial, economic, and marketing data sources.  Developed in 1993 to support faculty research at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, the service has evolved to become a common tool for research for over 290 institutions around the world.
